The Club

Open to everyone who loves cigars. The door is open.

Open to all

A club for people who love cigars — and that is the only requirement

There are no VIP gates. The Club exists because cigars are better with people, and anyone who respects the craft is welcome at the table.

What you get as a member is real: tasting seats, expedition reports, a place in our WhatsApp circle, and the right to bring a friend. That is the whole list. Nothing is gated.

Membership

One tier. Open to everyone.

We considered VIP tiers, gold cards, and so on. Then we deleted the file. One tier, no upgrade path, no gatekeeping.

Upcoming

Upcoming tastings

Six to eight seated tastings every month, twelve people each. Members are first to hear. Guests are always welcome if seats are open.

How to taste a cigar

Four moves, no dogma. The way we teach it on the first day of any tasting.

01

Cut a clean cap

Use a double-blade cutter about 2mm from the shoulder. A clean cut opens the draw without cracking the wrapper. If you are not sure, a punch cutter is the friendlier option.

02

Toast, then draw

Light the foot with a soft flame, rotating the cigar. Toast evenly, then take three slow draws. The first minute is the harshest — the cigar settles after that.

03

Taste in thirds

A cigar changes as it burns. First third: lighter, sharper. Middle: body, balance. Final third: full, deep, sometimes sweet. Do not rush. The third is the reward.

04

Note the things you can name

Don’t try to be a sommelier. If you taste wood, say wood. If you taste coffee, say coffee. The point of the review archive is to find people whose taste is close to yours. Honest notes beat clever ones.
