A club for people who care where a cigar comes from, and who they share it with.
Cigar Camp started with a simple idea: the best cigar reviews are written by people who have stood in the fields where the tobacco grew. Today we travel to the growing regions, sit in the rolling rooms, and smoke every blend blind before it reaches the archive.
We do not chase novelty. We chase honesty — a clean note, a fair score, and a table where anyone who loves cigars is welcome.
A review without context is just an opinion. We visit farms, workshops and warehouses before we publish.
Bands hide bias. Every cigar is scored by three independent tasters before the name is revealed.
No gated lists. The Club is open to anyone who respects the craft and enjoys cigars.
If it tastes like coffee, we say coffee. Clever language never beats a clear observation.
If we cannot source it, we do not print it. No myths, no marketing copy as fact.
Good cigars and good reviews take time. We re-taste before publishing, never chase a launch date.
Our Hong Kong members lounge is private, quiet and stripped of unnecessary theatre. Walnut cabinets, Spanish cedar lining, brass reading lights — the objects are here to serve the cigar, not to impress the room.
Tastings run six to eight times a month, eight to twelve people each. The seating is round, the ashtrays are heavy, and the conversation is the main event.
Travels to the growing regions, builds relationships with farms and workshops, and brings back samples for the blind panel.
Three independent tasters score construction, burn, flavour, balance and finish. No brand ever pays for placement.
Organise tastings, manage the WhatsApp circles, and make sure every new member finds their seat at the table.
Whether you want to taste with us, travel with us, or simply ask a question, the door is open.
